Anybody else notice the GT500 was only trapping 115mph. That’s only about 7-10mph off everyone else lol. Looks like a marketing scheme to me.

How about the fact that Ray Skillman is a authorized Roush dealer. And the fact that if you go to his site there is one GT500 and a ton of Roush. Maybe a way to sell more Roush

I don’t understand how the GT500 did not smoke the Roush. The 2013 Shelby has 631 lbs per feet of torque and the Roush 2013 (with the aluminator engine) has probably 600 lbs, at best. I think it is a matter of switching drivers like My13Eleonor said. I have a 2012 Roush RS3 with the stage 3 package (675HP, 585lbs/ft torque), but it does not deliver that power as advertised by Roush. It is doing 650HP at the flywheel on 91 octane fuel

They are both great. They both start around the mid $60k range. Both have near 700HP. It’s personal preference really. If you send me an email requesting more info, I can send you all the cars we have in stock and pricing. Send it to: jtrischler at rayskillmanford dot com

I love my 2013 Stage 3 I had the choice of the GT500 or the Stage roush stage 3 I took the roush over the GT500. already have a shelby SC cobra. Cobra is fun but the roush is better to drive everyday. The GT500 dose not handle like the Roush. The race is normaly over by the second turn….. But both are great cars. I;ll take either rather than a GM product….. Ford,,, NO government bailout money…Screw the Unions

That’s funny because here in Canada I beat that alluminator 4 out of 4 times with my GT500.

Hope you guys didn’t put dealer tags on these cars and take to track. I have 13 Roush that had 25 miles on it when I got it from dealer. Would hate to know it had 1/4 mile passes on it…
